The members-only travel resource Luxury Travel Intelligence (LTI) conferred three Maldivian resorts with the title ‘The Decade’s Best New Luxury Hotels’.

The three Maldivian resorts are Velaa Private Island Maldives, Soneva Jani Maldives, and Cheval Blanc Randheli.

The ten luxury destinations featured by LTI;

• Velaa Private Island: Maldives

• Soneva Jani: Maldives

• Corinthia London: United Kingdom

• Kokomo Private Island: Fiji

• La Reserve Hotel Paris: France

• Six Senses Zil Pasyon: Seychelles

• Song Saa: Cambodia

• The Silo Hotel: South Africa – Aman Tokyo: Japan

According to LTI, a panel of 12 expert researchers were tasked with analyzing and determining the recipients of the award.
